Well, his picture did anyhow! Along with Maggie’s orange (rain-fly) screen tent. Mr. Scamp is pretty photogenic. Ms. Vandura and I were either out at Lake McDonald or in Kalispell for some vehicle surgery.
I parked Mr. Scamp right by my Tent City (Woodstock) kids and am sitting in it now composing this post. Like me, some of them are stationed temporarily at another facility (Lake McDonald) within reasonable driving distance of here.
Lake McDonald is at least twice the size of Rising Sun. It’s very manicured and full of flowers while Rising Sun is far more rustic and wild.
Our Rising Sun buildings are still standing. If you look at some of the pictures in the gallery link below, you can see just how close the fire is to them.

I was told there were hopes of returning to Rising Sun soon, but the fire somewhat took off again yesterday as we’re in the middle of another heat wave.
