Sometimes bi-polar weather has it’s advantages.
When it’s not spewing mega-hail or obliterating everything with a massive blizzard, you can get and enjoy the flip-side of this benefit.
The temperature inversions are caused by being up against the mountains and the occasional Chinook that blows through doesn’t hurt, either.
It’s January and I was outside in my shirt-sleeves today and motorcycles whizzing by…because it’s 68 degrees here! A month earlier than this type of heat-wave hit us last year. Absolutely no complaints about that one.
Last year in February, we were climbing hoodoos in our shorts. It didn’t last terribly long – just a day or two, but it was sure lovely while it did last.
And nice sunset to finish the day of play.
The weather confuses the geese and ducks around here. They’re never sure if they should stay or go!
A benefit of Hhrbie is that you can lay down the seats, all the way up to the front passenger seat if you want, and stretch out and take a nap. I keep Hhrbie equipped in fact with a pillow and extra blanket just for these nap-attack occurrences. I took advantage of it today with the windows rolled down and the sunroof open and the fresh breeze reaching in and ruffling my hair.
Heavenly!
